CONVENTION LOCATION
Genova has played a major role in Europe's history and is rich in cultural artifacts. In year 2004, it serves as the official European Capital of Culture.
The SMI&SM04 Convention will be located in the first floor of the beautiful Palazzo Ducale, the main ancient seat of power of the Republic of Genova and the Doge's residence. The Sala del Maggior Consiglio will provide a wonderful background for the SMI&SM04 events.

The SMI&SM04 reception will be organized in the Acquarium of Genova, and will include a guided tour of the Acquarium and a dinner in the Dolphin and Shark Halls.
Genova also enjoys a wonderful location on the Mediterranean sea, within a short boat ride from beautiful beaches and touristic attractions, such as Portofino or the Cinque Terre.
